Q. What kind of skips can you provide?
Mr Skip can provide any type of skip to meet your requirements, from 2 yard mini skips to very large 40 yard skips. We can also provide covered skips should you need protection from the weather.
Q. What can I put in my skip?
Our skips can only be used for the removal of non-hazardous waste such as building debris, household items and green waste etc. For example –
Concrete
Clay & Soil
Metal
Bricks
Wood
Plastic
Domestic Waste
Commercial Waste
The disposal of hazardous waste needs special permits and containers, and it is illegal to mix hazardous waste with non-hazardous waste. Skips are also available for scrap metal, please call us for details.
Q. Where can I put my skip?
A skip can be placed anywhere on your private property (e.g. driveway, field or garden) provided that the we can access the location with our delivery lorry. When the driver arrives you can discuss the location with him and he will set the skip down in a safe and convenient place.
If you want to place your skip on public land (e.g. the road or pathway) you will require a permit from your local authority. Mr Skip can arrange this for you, but please note this may incur additional charges.
Q. What CAN’T I put in my skip?
The following list of items cannot be put in your skip. If you require the disposal of any of the following, please contact us for more details –
